The LOTE Agency provides inclusive integrated communications, research and community engagement services that cater to all Australians regardless of cultural or linguistic differences.
Over the past three years, we have grown considerably with staff now located around Australia and Southeast Asia. In addition to our core workforce we also engage over 850 translators and over 20 consultants. Our core team is extremely diverse, speaking over 30 languages, and they are considered our most valuable asset. Our clients include state and federal government departments, NFPs, utilities, elite sports organisations and blue chip corporations.
As our Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing a diverse array of client projects relating to public relations, community engagement, market research, media buying, translations, and multimedia production.
This role includes a mix of client meetings, developing briefs, managing internal and external resources, creating and maintaining budgets and schedules, and working across functions to deliver exceptional outcomes. We are ideally seeking someone with a government, social impact and or agency background who is looking for a change to a smaller, more agile, and community-focused business.
You will be working alongside a mix of project / account managers and be supported by cultural, production and research subject matter experts. We are a small business and it is important that all employees have the willingness and agility to occasionally wear multiple hats to get the job done (together!).
This is not your typical project manager role. Client facing, you will be responsible for managing several projects at once across different clients/accounts. Our projects are short to medium-term, with the objectives having a strong focus on social cohesion and community engagement. We strongly encourage those passionate about this type of work to apply.
Applicants with backgrounds in IT, Infrastructure, Manufacturing or Sales won’t be suited to this role. We require someone with solid experience in managing projects, clients and people who can hit the ground running.
Given the nature of our work with multicultural communities in Australia, a workforce culture built on trust, empathy and emotional intelligence is extremely important to us. We are seeking another team member who shares our passion for genuine and authentic multicultural communications that have a real and positive impact.
We are seeking a candidate with the following skills/experience:
We encourage flexible working arrangements and offer a hybrid working environment. Connecting is important to us, and we like to be onsite collaborating 2-3 days a week. Based in Melbourne, there may be requirements to travel around Australia or internationally. We are committed to building a diverse and equal team, and people from traditionally underrepresented groups are encouraged to apply.
To apply, please include a cover letter and resume. Applicants who do not include a cover letter will not be considered.
We are shortlisting on receipt of application, if this role excites you don’t delay in applying today!
