Lead the design and delivery of curriculum for the Teach To Lead (TTL) programs – specifically focusing on the development of emerging school leaders, in schools facing educational disadvantage in order to build their capacity to influence and effect real change in schools. The role will deliver face to face professional learning and occasional virtual experiences. The role also provides leadership coaching to program participants, and manages casually employed leadership coaches.
At Teach For Australia, we support flexible work practices. We are open to the role being undertaken full time (1.0 FTE) by one person, or undertaken by two people (working at 0.6 FTE each)
In 2016, Teach For Australia (TFA) launched a program – Teach To Lead. The goal of this program is to develop a pipeline of exceptional future leaders – specifically for disadvantaged schools. It accelerates the development of emerging leaders within schools serving low socioeconomic communities, to improve student and school outcomes. The program seeks individuals who are focused on results, committed to addressing educational inequity, and have growth mindsets about themselves, and those around them. The program is supported by the Sidney Myer Fund, Gandel Philanthropy, and the Victorian Government Department of Education and Training.
