Please Note: This is a fixed-term role for 14 months. This role has the flexibility to be 0.7 FTE (26.6 hrs) - 1 FTE (38 hrs)
Role Purpose
We are looking for an organised and proactive Marketing Coordinator to support a range of recruitment and marketing initiatives. In this role, you'll work closely with a passionate team to help build the Teach For Australia brand and engage future leaders in education. You'll bring strong coordination skills and a love of detail to support events, content, and communication activities that make a real impact.
Qualifications and Experience
Essential
- Experience in a Marketing Coordinator Position or similar role
- Communication and organisational skills
- Basic copywriting and/or AI skills
Desirable
- Qualifications in marketing or communications
- Experience working in Education or non-profit
- Experience with digital tools including Microsite suite, Hootsuite, Canva, Mailchimp or Hubspot, Meta, TikTok and LinkedIn.
Skills, Attributes and Knowledge
Essential
- Event planning and execution - experience in best-practice events management, with excellent organisational, stakeholder management, communication and problem-solving skills. Actively considers ROI and takes a strategic approach to events implementation.
- Marketing coordination – experience in assisting with social media & EDM scheduling and monitoring and familiar with marketing or campaign fundamentals.
- Stakeholder coordination - strong skills and experience in engaging and activating a wide range of stakeholders across the business and external providers as needed.
- Project and time management – proven ability to contribute to multiple projects concurrently and, taking initiative to proactively deliver high quality work on time.
- Personal drive and integrity – champions and lives the TFA values every day; demonstrates professionalism, ethical practices and personal insight.
Primary Accountabilities
- Plan and coordinate participation in careers fairs and virtual events to support the recruitment team and marketing efforts
- Lead the coordination of the annual Graduate Summit, including logistics, communications, and stakeholder engagement.
- Coordinate documentation related to events performance and keep up-to date records and data
- Support partnerships activity including management of the events inbox, EDMs, staff engagement and learning activities and other related duties
- Support scheduling and executing TFA’s events across brand building and customer segments as well as additional TFA teams as requested
- Schedule and monitor social media posts for TFA’s media channels
- Schedule and monitor marketing EDMs
- Contribute to the general business of the marketing team as required
- Provide support to other areas of the business for events as required
