At The Benevolent Society, we’ve been supporting people to live their life, their way, since 1813.
We put people first and work together as one to meet our vision of a just society where all Australians can live their best life.
In our Child, Youth and Family services we support parents and families to raise children in safe and loving environments.
The role of the Team Leader is to ensure that high quality services are delivered to children, young people and families within a resilience-based, child-focused practice framework. The Team Leader will provide line management, support and supervision to a team of Case Managers, ensuring the delivery of quality services in a manner consistent with service guidelines and The Benevolent Society’s philosophies, policies and procedures. Your new team provides services in a number of program areas including Family Connect & Support, Family Preservation and Intensive Family Preservation.
You manage relationships with partner organisations, and coordinate referrals for the best outcomes.
You will support your team to build amazing, culturally safe practices. And you’ll be backed not only by an experienced manager, but also our Practice and Impact Management team (we call them PIMS).
You’re passionate about leading a team to make a difference. You understand the team leader role is one where you can make the biggest difference by supporting your team to deliver services and supports that enable families, young people and children to live their life, their way. Whatever that means.
You have a strong understanding of utilising strengths based practice in working with families where there are complex needs (e.g. child protection, mental health, domestic violence, drug/alcohol misuse, etc).
Call Fidelity Betts on 0408 865 419 to discuss the role in more detail.
TBS is committed to building an inclusive and diverse workforce that reflects the communities and people we support and advocate for. The Benevolent Society supports vaccination as the best way to keep our clients, communities, volunteers and employees safe from COVID-19. Vaccination for COVID-19 is a condition of employment and volunteering.
