Our Rural Youth Mental Health team is looking for new team members to support outreach work in a range of locations across Western NSW. Position locations are flexible across the communities of Mudgee, Parkes and Dubbo. We welcome diversity in all its forms; applications from underrepresented communities are strongly encouraged. RYMH team provide individualised, holistic and collaborative mental health supports to young people, 12-25 years, across a range of communities in Western NSW. You will develop meaningful working relationships with young people, develop and implement tailored mental health supports utilising an evidence informed practice framework, to support the young person make positive changes in their lives.
You will support young people (12-25 years) who are currently experiencing mental health challenges to build their social and emotional wellbeing, to recognise and manage their mental health through individualised therapeutic support, group work and case management. Working collaboratively within communities and with a range service partners, you will reduce barriers for young people to engage with services and reduce the impact of mental health challenges.
