An exciting opportunity has arisen to lead Tasmania’s principal migration law service. The Tasmanian Refugee Legal Service is a nationally accredited Community Legal Centre (CLC) providing migration and legal services to the Tasmanian refugee, asylum seeker and humanitarian entrant community.
We are seeking a 5+PAE or otherwise suitably qualified, autonomous and enterprising leader to spearhead our service delivery under the guidance of the governing Board. A current practicing certificate and migration agent registration (or eligibility to quickly obtain each) is a must. Experience as a leader in the CLC sector will be an advantage.
We offer market competitive remuneration commensurate with experience and in line with level 2 of the Legal Practitioners Agreement (Tas), the availability of salary sacrificing arrangements, flexible work arrangements, support for ongoing professional development, a practice engaged in various forums and a unique opportunity to truly make a difference in the lives of disadvantaged community members.
