The Museum is embarking on a new phase, hosting artworks from famous artists, state of the art technology exhibitions, and commencing a 10-year master planning exercise to connect and engage with more audiences than ever.
Focused on Jewish stories and traditions and preserving the stories of the Holocaust, our goal is to give history a voice so that people today can learn important lessons from the past. This is an ideal time to join the Museum, and to be a part of our mission to keep history alive while advocating for human rights in Australia.
Importantly, we are seeking applicants from all faiths and backgrounds – our only focus is on candidates who are interested in history, human rights and storytelling.
This is a 3-day (24 hours) per week role with flexible days. The role plays a big part in the Marketing and Membership team, with skills needed to complement the team.
We are seeking someone who is both creative and technically skilled, with at least two years' experience in digital marketing, copywriting, marketing analytics, graphic design or relationship management. They must have a proven ability to utilise multiple systems and tools including Google Analytics, Campaign Monitor, Word Press and various CRMs.
Working at the Museum offers excellent benefits, including additional days off for Jewish holidays.
This is a meaningful job, with the opportunity to meet and engage with Holocaust survivors and the Museum’s fascinating collection of artefacts and stories.
We are a flexible workplace with working from home options - we have actual work-life balance - we don’t just say it, we live it!
If you are looking for the next step in your career, in a unique and meaningful workplace, or are looking to start a career in marketing for cultural institutions, this is the role for you.
