About the Role

The role is part of the Mental Health team and is responsible for the administration of the mental health central intake process and involves:

• Processing incoming referrals, reviewing for eligibility and assigning them to the most appropriate SWSPHN commissioned mental health service
• Maintaining referral and program information, in line with the minimum data set, using a Client Information Management System
• Liaise with and provide support to referrers and SWSPHN commissioned mental health service providers.

• Experience in the mental health sector with relevant tertiary qualifications (e.g. health or mental health - a clinical qualification is desirable, but not a requirement)
• High level communication and data entry skills
• Demonstrated experience in communicating with a range of stakeholder groups
