About the role

Reporting directly to the Executive Officer, the Program and Pedagogy Manager is responsible for leading and managing the development, implementation and monitoring of an effective education program in the early childhood education and care services across the organisation. The Program and Pedagogy Manager works in partnership with other Senior Leadership roles, Centre Managers and Educational Leaders to deliver positive outcomes for children and families through effective educational leadership that builds the capability of leaders, educators and staff.

As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, this position also provides Leadership to the Management team, ensuring high quality early learning education and care that meets the requirements of the regulations and law and remains within sustainable budget parameters.

Key Selection Criteria

Qualifications

  • Degree in early childhood or relevant degree qualification plus additional professional learning and other relevant qualifications
  • Ability to lead a team in pedagogy matters including curriculum planning and professional development, across multiple early childhood education and care settings
  • Thorough knowledge of early childhood education and care centre administrative functions

Experience

  • Previous experience in a leadership role across multi-service locations
  • Demonstrated sector experience in a Leadership role
  • Proven ability to build successful working relationships with direct and indirect reports, peers, management and stakeholders

*Must have a current and valid drivers license
