Reporting to the Director, Health, Safety & Wellbeing, the Manager, Safer Community is a best-practice leader in the campus threat management field. The Manager, Safer Community supports the university community to prevent, recognise and respond to student behaviours of concern.
Safer Community is the central point of enquiry, reporting, assessment and coordination for problem behaviours, sexual harassment and assault, domestic and family violence and child safety related matters that affect students. The manager leads a team of Safer Community professionals whose key roles are the management of cases of problem behaviour, domestic family violence, sexual assault and child safety matters and related primary prevention activities. Within this role, you will work closely with other areas of the university to provide advice, professional development, specialised assessment, and management of behavioural risks.
