- The hours and days of work are flexible, however, Mon, Tues and/or Thursday are preferred. Could be perfect for parents who want to work around the school run hours. (eg 9.30am - 2.30pm)

We are looking for an experienced PR & Marketing Executive or Manager to join our team on a casual contract basis. You will be responsible for developing and implementing effective PR and marketing strategies to build and enhance awareness of Swag Australia’s brands (The Swag and Veggie Saver).
The Role
- Developing and implementing a global PR and marketing strategy aligned with marketing objectives
- Manage the day-to-day PR and marketing tasks required, including developing pitches, press releases and content pieces on behalf of the founder
- Monitor and report on critical metrics and ensure they are aligned with the PR and marketing strategy
- Oversee and review/proof-read organic social media content, blog posts and newsletters (developed by content assistants)
- Stay updated on social media trends and the media landscape to enhance brand awareness
- Work closely with media/PR program Muckrack for pitching, reporting and monitoring coverage
- Developing media results reports
- Awards submissions and management
Experience
This would be an excellent role for someone who has been working within the PR industry for at least 2 years and can thrive working autonomously. We also require;
- 3+ years of marketing experience
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to work autonomously as this role is remote/WFH
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to self-manage priorities and work under pressure
- Demonstrated experience in managing Facebook and Instagram profiles and content calendar
- Strong written communication and organisational skills
- Proven ability to develop, implement, and execute successful public relations and marketing campaigns
- Experience using Muckrack PR platform is advantageous!
The ideal candidate will have experience in PR, marketing and social media, preferably within an agency, and a great can-do attitude. You will also need to be flexible, helpful, and have a great eye for detail, as well as be happy to work independently and as part of the greater team.
