About the role:

Our nationally recognised Emergency Department at St Vincent's Hospital is seeking two experience focused individuals to complement our expert team of health professionals.

The role of the Patient Experience Officer will be one that is customer focused and passionate about delivering a great patient experience every day.

This position is responsible for enhancing effective patient and carer communication, particularly between the patient, carer and clinical staff. The focus of the role is improving the experience for patients located in the waiting room of the Emergency Department.

About you:

You will need to be solution focused, calm, and work well under pressure. You will have the ability to deescalate challenging and emotional situations, normalising the hospital environment.
