SNH partners with local primary schools to offer EAL classes to parents from non-English speaking backgrounds to learn English within a safe and familiar environment.

Classes are conveniently scheduled after children have commenced primary school classes. SNH has gained valuable insights, recognising the significance of providing learning opportunities within an individual's familiar setting.

SNH has been granted ACFE - Family Learning Partnerships project funds to examine effective strategies to enhance SNHs existing EAL program in primary schools by:

• Gaining comprehensive understanding of learning needs.
• Fostering collaborative partnerships.
• Improving educational pathways for families.

The role of the EAL Project Support/Tutor will be to:

• Support the development of enhanced relationships with local schools.
• Undertake/facilitate consultations sessions with key stakeholders.
• Tutor adult learners to develop their English language and digital skills.

Arabic speaking desirable.
