Success Works Partners (SWP) is a not-for-profit social enterprise whose mission is to transform the lives of women affected by the criminal justice system and to break down the barriers to employment through employer engagement, training, and advocating for change. We provide job readiness training and mentoring to empower our women to present themselves to an employer who sees their skills and potential not the criminal record.

ROLE PURPOSE

The Success Works Candidate & Employment Administrator will work with SWP staff to provide high-level support to candidates on their journey to employment. The person will also add value to the employer partnerships programs and support the financial and regulatory requirements as outlined:

Candidate Support:

  • Together with program staff liaise with referral agencies to ensure that program targets are met
  • Management of workshop program for candidates including workshop delivery and managing communications with candidates
  • Conduct intake assessment calls with candidates according to agreed protocols
  • Maintain regular contact with candidates from intake to graduation
  • Together with program staff provide personalised guidance and support tailored to individual candidate needs
  • Implement the SWP support protocols, in conjunction with all Success Works staff for the candidate journey from unemployment to employment readiness
  • Maintain high level client data according to agreed processes and security protocols
  • In conjunction with other staff support activities to promote the SWP program in referral partner networks to assist us in attracting candidates

Employment Support:

  • In conjunction with other staff support the development of relationships between SWP and both prospective and current employers and training providers to strengthen the Success Works Program
  • Assistance with identifying and providing individualised training and employment opportunities aligned to the candidate’s career goals and assist candidates with enrolment/application procedures as agreed
  • Supporting Employers who have hired our candidates during the first 12 months of Employment

Admin Support:

  • Provide administrative or financial/accounts support duties as reasonably directed
  • Ensure currency of all documents regarding NFP and business status according to legislation

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Essential:

  • Demonstrated high-level oral and written communication skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, including negotiation and conflict resolution skills
  • Commitment to teamwork and to the ability to manage multiple priorities, relationships, and conflicting deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to provide and maintain quality service and portray a professional image
  • Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining effective relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel, Word and Outlook and CRM systems
