Your new role

The Retail Area Manager will oversee the Vinnies retail network with approximately 10 stores in the Central Coast region. This is a truly challenging and rewarding role that will focus on developing strategies to promote sales and performance growth. Your ability to motivate, direct and inspire teams are important to your success in this role.

Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will:

  • Oversee the operations of Vinnie's shops; motivate, manage, and coach to ensure stores' performance objectives are achieved
  • Manage recruitment, performance, and training of Managers, Sales Assistants and Volunteers
  • Regularly review and analyse sales performance
  • Develop innovative strategies to enable stores to meet and/or exceed targets
  • Ensure compliance with operational standards
  • Maintain Work Health and Safety measures

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification/s in business, management and/or retail and demonstrated significant experience working in the management of large retail outlet/s
  • Demonstrated ability in successfully leading retail and supply chain operations
  • Proven people management skills including leading, motivating, coaching and developing teams
  • Proven ability to review and analyse business data and analytics to enable effective reporting and decision-making on operational performance
  • Financial acumen and experience in managing P&L
  • High-level understanding of current issues facing the retail sector and not for profit industry
  • NSW driver licence and ability to travel across the South region
