Our Service:

headspace Centres act as a one-stop-shop for young people who need help with mental health, physical health, alcohol and other drugs and/or work and study support.

  • Part-time (0.6FTE) & Fixed-term (12 month contract ending 01/05/24 with possibility of extension)

Role overview:

This position will provide program support to the Me Too (FMHSS) Program Coordinator and headspace Centre Manager by supporting administrative, reporting and FMHSS and headspace team functions. Overall, the role undertakes a wide range of tasks that support these teams to focus on quality administrative and reporting functions which supports high quality service provision to the young people, their families, service providers and the community.

Including but not limited to:-

  • Assist in data input and reporting
  • Provide secretarial support in preparing agendas and completing minutes for program meetings 
  • Answering and returning calls, booking and confirming appointments
  • Support teams with event coordination, planning and implementation as required 

Requirements:

  • Ideally a Cert III in Business Administration or similar qualification
  • At least 2 years experience in a similar Administration role
  • Organisation and time management skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of people, particularly youth
  • Experience with reporting and data management
  • Well-developed customer service skills, including the ability to maintain enthusiasm and motivation when dealing with clients
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Understanding of rights to privacy and confidentiality
  • Demonstrated understanding of teamwork and the importance of providing a quality service
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite of programs (must be proficient with excel)
  • Must be eligible to apply/currently hold a Blue Card
  • Must hold/be willing to apply for NDIS worker screening clearance 
  • Has a current unencumbered QLD driver’s license
