Love digital marketing? Thrive on creating engaging content that gets results? Ready to take control of our social media and online presence? Strong copywriter and designer? If the answer is YES, then we have the role for you!
St Kilda Mums Inc. is seeking a new Digital Marketing & Communications Coordinator to help us achieve the ambitious goals in our new strategy and reach every Victorian child that needs us by 2030. We’re looking for a strong digital communicator with a can-do attitude - if this is you, we’d love to meet you.
Our vision is a future where we share more, waste less and care for every child.
St Kilda Mums, Geelong Mums and Eureka Mums (St Kilda Mums Inc.) collect, sort and redistribute essential nursery equipment, clothing, books and toys for babies and children in response to requests from a statewide network of social workers and Maternal & Child Health Nurses.
We’re looking for a tech savvy & creative Digital Marketing and Communications Coordinator, with lots of initiative and strong content creation skills.
You’ll be responsible for generating highly engaging content across our digital platforms (including copywriting, photos and videos). You’ll also be responsible for maintaining and updating our website, developing quarterly newsletters and sending communications via Campaign Monitor.
This role can be based in Clayton or Geelong and is a full time position with some flexibility with regard to working remotely.
Most important is your willing attitude and can-do approach. St Kilda Mums Inc. is a fast-paced environment, and we’re looking for someone who doesn’t mind getting their hands dirty, is happy to be flexible, and understands the importance of working as a team.
You will be confident when liaising with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, including sourcing case studies and stories from the community, our partners and our amazing volunteers!
You’ll need to have strong copywriting skills and a talent for visual design, as well as previous experience in a digital marketing role. You’ll also need to have previously produced social media video content. Experience with Campaign Monitor is desirable. In addition, it would also be advantageous, though not essential to have experience with a CRM (Salesforce experience is well regarded!) and experience in the not-for-profit sector.
The role will be an integral part of the Fundraising and Communications team, supporting all three of our branches and reporting to the Communications & Event Manager.
