In today’s world, students aren’t just learning facts - they’re learning how to think. How to question what they see, analyse information, and solve real problems.
That’s what great science classrooms do.
More than 1 in 3 Australian secondary schools use Stile’s science curriculum to bring that kind of learning to life - with lessons, simulations, videos and activities that connect science to the real world.
But great tools aren’t enough. Teachers are busy. Things go wrong. Questions come up.
That’s where you come in.
You’ll be on the front line helping teachers every day - answering questions, solving problems, and making their lives just that little bit easier.
We care deeply about every interaction. We aim to respond in minutes, not days. We go beyond solving the problem - we make people feel supported, understood, and occasionally delighted.
That might mean jumping on a call to troubleshoot something tricky.
Or spotting a better way they could be using Stile.
Or sending a handwritten note because something went wrong and it mattered.
Helping teachers - You’ll support teachers via email and phone - solving problems and explaining how to get the most out of Stile.
Becoming an expert - You’ll build deep knowledge of the Stile platform and how teachers use it in real classrooms, so you can guide, not just answer.
Making things better together - You’ll spot patterns in questions and issues, improve resources like our help centre, and share insights with product and engineering to make things better for everyone.
Working smarter (including with AI) - You’ll use tools (including AI) to work efficiently - writing clearer responses, solving problems faster, and improving how you work without losing the human touch.
Taking ownership - You’ll take responsibility for outcomes, not just responses - following things through, keeping teachers informed, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks.
You don’t need years of experience - but you do need the right instincts.
You genuinely enjoy helping people and solving problems - You get satisfaction from figuring things out and making someone else’s day easier - even when the problem isn’t straightforward.
You’re curious and pick up new tools and systems quickly - You’re comfortable teaching yourself new software, clicking around to explore, and using resources (or a quick search) to get unstuck.
You communicate clearly, especially in writing - You can explain things simply and logically, adapting your tone depending on who you’re talking to.
You notice small details and care about getting things right - You catch the little things others might miss, and you take pride in leaving things better than you found them.
You’re empathetic - you can put yourself in a stressed teacher’s shoes - You understand that behind every question is a real person, often under time pressure, and you respond with patience and care.
You take initiative and don’t wait to be told what to do - You naturally look for ways to improve things, take ownership of problems, and follow through until they’re resolved.
You have a natural affinity for technology and computers - You’re comfortable troubleshooting issues, learning new systems, and helping others navigate technology with confidence.
At Stile we are dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive and authentic workplace, so if you’re excited about this role but your past experience doesn’t align perfectly with all of the points above, we encourage you to apply anyway. You may be just the right candidate for this or other roles.
Colleagues worth working with.
You’ll join an amazing 80-strong team of teachers, scientists, artists, and engineers. We hold ourselves, and each other, to a high standard, and love what we do.
Working on something that really matters.
Support always.
A fantastic office environment.
Flexibility.
Your own professional development.
Our head office is located in the ‘Paris end’ of Melbourne CBD. Overall we’re an “in-person” culture. Typically, people come to the office a few days per week to spend in person time with their teammates, then a few days at home focusing on getting stuff done with minimal distractions.
Great! We want to know more about you, click Apply Now and ensure you provide that cover letter to show you’re great at following the details.
