Centre 360 is a not-for-profit service in Paddington, Sydney, providing free counselling and innovative programs for young people aged 12–24 and their families since 1978. We offer individual and group counselling, outreach in schools, parenting support, and mentorship programs, all grounded in trauma-informed, strengths-based, and culturally competent practice.
The Opportunity: Clinical Manager
We’re seeking a dynamic Clinical Manager to lead our multidisciplinary team of clinicians and champion high-quality, trauma-informed care for vulnerable young people and their families. You’ll drive clinical excellence, foster reflective practice, and support service innovation, ensuring Centre 360 remains a welcoming, empowering space for youth.
Key Responsibilities
- Clinical Leadership & Governance: Lead Centre 360’s clinical vision and practice framework. Oversee risk management, critical incidents, and policy development.
- Supervision & Team Support: Provide clinical supervision, mentoring, and support to the team, fostering a reflective and high-performing culture.
- Client & Therapeutic Support: Manage a small caseload delivering evidence-based individual, group, and family interventions. Conduct assessments, case management, advocacy, and risk responses. Support client transitions and engagement, including outreach.
- Practice Development & Innovation: Coordinate and deliver clinical education and training. Support ongoing professional development, peer supervision, and sector updates.
- Professional Development & Training: Drive continuous improvement of therapeutic models and programs, incorporating youth input and best practice. Lead quality and outcome monitoring.
- Strategic & Sector Engagement & Advocacy: Contribute clinical expertise to service planning. Build partnerships and represent Centre360 in networks. Advocate for young people and maintain knowledge of local youth services.
KEY SELECTION CRITERIA
About You:
- Tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Creative Arts Therapies, or related field (with relevant registration)
- 7+ years’ experience in therapeutic work with young people
- Proven leadership and clinical supervision skills
- Deep understanding of trauma-informed, strengths-based, and culturally safe practices
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and advocacy abilities
- Commitment to inclusive, evidence-based service delivery
- Knowledge of relevant legislation including child protection and privacy.
Desirable:
- Supervision training or formal qualification
- Experience in school or not-for-profit settings
- Experience with First Nations young people and diverse communities
- Ability to work in culturally and linguistically diverse environments with a strong commitment to strengths-based and trauma-informed practices.
