Our psychologists believe that by engaging children and young people, we have a unique opportunity to equip them with the skills for lifelong wellbeing. Change for one client has a knock of effect to positively impact so many more people in that young person’s life.

We prioritise building strong connections within our team and community to foster a sense of belonging. We currently have the opportunity for Psychologists to join our team in either part time or full-time capacities and have children and adolescents waiting for you to form part of their support team.

about the opportunity

We offer a tailored caseload within a psychology-specific practice, allowing you to see clients which fulfil you as a clinician. Majority of our clients access our services through NDIS and being neuro-affirming at our core is essential to us as a team. With all work completed within work hours and the opportunity for a hybrid role (clinic and remote), our psychologists find that the balance between work and home is well maintained. Supervision and support from colleagues and the leadership team, as well as a large variety of resources at their fingertips, enables our psychologists to be the best they can for their clients.

Growth and development is highly valued at Step by Step Psychology and as such we offer the opportunity for external and internal professional development, regular clinical supervision, Educational and Developmental Psychology endorsement supervision, peer supervision and much more.

We love when our psychologists find a project which inspires them and we encourage contribution of ideas to our services and programs so that they have the opportunity to engage in their areas of interest within the workplace.

Based in Blackburn and Nunawading, Step by Step Psychology has been meeting the psychology needs of our community since 2014. While we are a well-established business, we regularly review our systems and processes to ensure that we continue to meet the needs of not only our community, but our wonderful team members.
