The Organisation

STARTTS is a not-for-profit Affiliated Health Organisation focused on providing a broad range of services to refugees in NSW. The focus of STARTTS approach is on building capacity and empowering people and communities to take control over their own lives, using a strengths-based approach and building on individual, family, community and cultural strengths.

The Role

This position requires a person who has extensive experience in ICT management and service development, proven experience in working collaboratively with external vendors and stakeholders to achieve ICT objectives and resolve technical issues and is highly organised.

• Salary: Health Service Manager Level 1. A generous salary packaging scheme is also offered.

Essential Criteria:

1.  Tertiary qualifications in ICT and/or extensive experience in a leadership role in an ICT team environment.
2. Proven experience in Information Technology (IT) service desk management and sound ICT project management and policy development skills and experience.
3. Experience in managing staff and proven experience in the use of staff development activities, tools, and processes.
4. Good understanding and technical knowledge of current network and PC operating systems, hardware, protocols, and standards.
5. Experience with Microsoft Windows environments, including Server, workstation and cloud applications and demonstrated experience in digital and IP phone technology.
6. Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills and proven ability to effectively communicate to technical and non-technical staff at all levels of an organisation and demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multicultural team within a multicultural environment.
7. Knowledge of emerging ICT trends and technologies and the ability to make recommendations for their integration and implementation in the organisation.
8. Current NSW Driver’s Licence.

Vaccination Requirements

*This role is a Category B role. Category B workers must have two doses of an approved COVID-19 vaccine. If successful, you must provide evidence of vaccination. (The annual Influenza vaccination as well as vaccination for other transmissible diseases are strongly encouraged but not mandatory).

Should you not be able to comply with vaccination requirements before your commencement date, the offer of employment may be withdrawn.

If you have a medical reason for why you cannot be vaccinated, a medical contraindication evidence will be required.
