About the Function

The People & Culture Team (PaC) partner with the business through a number of functions, including Work Health & Safety, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Organisational Development, Employee Services and Business Partnering. You will be joining a diverse team of highly engaged and driven individuals who strive to make a difference and work together collaboratively to deliver outcomes for our people, clients and stakeholders.

About the Role

As Shared Services Administrator you will take ownership of managing SSI/Access employee life cycle (hire to retire) process, initiate common HR transactions in SSI/Access core HCM and other employee-related systems and ensuring data integrity. You will partner with other internal functions such as PaCBP, Talent, L&D, Payroll to ensure accurate, prompt, and consistent resolution or redistribution by following established channels and exceeding expectations of a positive employee experience.

Work together with Shared Services team to support Shared Services Lead to implement a cloud-based core HCM and service delivery solutions.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Providing excellent first level HR service to managers and staff on all PaC policies and processes including sensitive employee related matters, industrial relations matters or escalate through to PaC Business Partners.
  • Self-manage your service delivery to ensure that customer SLAs and satisfaction is exceeded
  • Ensuring that HR transactions are reviewed for accuracy and consistency with policy and process before endorsing them for processing, such as commencements, transfers and exits
  • Maintain accurate and timely schedules of work to deliver regular HR checks such as Police Checks and maintaining WWCCs register, probation reminders
  • Manage and maintain the core HCM system by updating the system when there is a change in employment terms and conditions.
  • Prepare regular dashboard and ad hoc reports
  • Maintain and update the knowledge management systems to enable employee self serve

About You

The successful candidate will ideally have:

  • Tertiary Qualifications in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline
  • Have a customer focus and experience in delivering great customer service
  • Demonstrated experience in the ability to apply Awards, policy and procedures and provide advice to staff and management.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver in-house training to employees
  • Ability to research, develop and implement policies and procedures
  • Experience with HRIS
  • Competence with Microsoft Office Products (particularly in Excel Advance/Intermediate)
