Seeking Speech Pathologists!

You will be working in a Team environment, with support from peers and more experienced Speech Pathologists.

Speaking of Learning is a private practice with two clinics located in Mitcham and Ringwood. Our passionate team consists of Speech Pathologists and administration staff. We provide speech, language, literacy and social intervention to preschool and school-aged children, and young adults. Telehealth and face-to-face sessions are provided.

Your role will involve:

  • assessing and providing evidence-based intervention
  • collaborating with parents/carers to determine goals to meet your clients’ needs
  • managing your caseload
  • generating case notes and reports
  • collaborating with peers
  • engaging in supervision with a more experienced clinician
  • supervising less experienced clinicians (if applicable)
  • developing your professional and personal goals

We are seeking someone who has:

  • well-developed written/oral communication
  • excellent interpersonal skills
  • ability to work independently and effectively in a team
  • ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines

Role Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Speech Pathology or equivalent degree
  • Current SPA Membership and adherence to SPA CP programme
  • Valid Australian Working rights
  • Professional indemnity, and public liability insurance
  • Three years’ experience with paediatric intervention
  • Current WWCC
  • Current driver’s licence and own car
