Regenerating Australia’s soils and landscapes has never been more important, and our work at Soils for Life is expanding! We’re currently recruiting for multiple roles in our team to help us deliver on our mission to support Australian farmer soil stewards.

We’re currently recruiting for up to four roles, including a Project Manager, Senior Project Manager, Writer/Researcher and Communications Officer (more detail below). All roles are 100% remote, with the option to work from anywhere within Australia.

We want to hear from you if you’re passionate about soils, agriculture, community and the environment! We’re particularly looking for candidates with skills in:

• Research combined with applied writing that connects with a range of audiences
• Project management and coordinating colleagues and partners
• Written and digital communications, including social media

In this advertisement we are seeking applications for Project Managers.

Some knowledge, qualification and/or experience in soils, agro-ecology and/or regenerative agriculture is required, and motivation and passion for the mission is essential!

about the opportunity

Project Manager / Senior Project Manager

These roles involve managing Soils for Life projects, including project design, implementation, monitoring, budget management and reporting, and coordinating team members who are collaborating on the project. Candidates for these roles will have exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail, an ability to find ways to bring people together and coordinate them to deliver a range of project activities, and strong communication skills. Knowledge of cropping practices is desirable but not essential.

To be eligible for the Senior Project Manager role, candidates would require significant prior experience and skill in managing complex projects. Experience in staff management is also desirable, although not essential, for the Senior Project Manager role.

These roles require candidates to work a minimum of 3.5 days per week, preferably 4 days per week. The role is fully remote, with the option to work from anywhere within Australia. Working rights in Australia are required.
