As we continue to grow and increase our reach in the community, we have a newly created position of Project Officer - MoneyMinded Project to join our team. Reporting to the Manager, Program Implementation, this hands on, high energy and rewarding role will be to manage the delivery of Financial Literacy Education sessions using selected Face to Face and Online strategic initiatives under the MoneyMinded (MM) Project.
Each day will be different, but primarily you will be responsible for the following:
- Contribute to content roll out planning and resources using MM content.
- Continuous input to the Activity Work Plan particularly through data collation and consultation.
- Build and maintain positive relationships and networks within the TSF communities.
- Through demonstrated initiative and upon advice from MM Project Manager, support the planning process by organising and actively participating in stakeholder meetings.
- With approval from the Project Manager initiate, facilitate and actively participate in partnerships with TSF stakeholders to promote MM activities.
- Maintain awareness of policy or service changes in the local area and external environment and how this will impact on MMP operations and plans.
- Attend and participate in the MMP Smith Family’s engagement and promotion activities.
- Support the development of a Marketing and Promotional Plan that provides opportunities for ‘Good News stories’ and best practice examples for promotion via The Smith Family community.
- Liaise with TSF staff and stakeholders for coordinated roll out of MM sessions.
- Provide administration and project support to maintain positive active partnerships for TSF and stakeholders.
- Identify, assess, and escalate as is necessary project challenges and delivery concerns in a timely manner.
- Prepare invoices for the Project Manager’s review and action.
Our successful candidate will possess the following:
- Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience (e.g. project management, change management, etc.)
- Demonstrated experience working as part of, or managing, a digital project
- Evidence of consulting and collaborating for a successful outcome
- Training within an online and face to face community setting
- General confidence in using technology for training and reporting
- Demonstrated experience in quickly learning, applying and presenting new information to support decision making
- Supportive and respectful practices in working with families experiencing financial stress
- High level communication and influencing skills (verbal and written), and the ability to work positively across a diverse range of views and interests
- High level accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills alongside an ability to prioritise competing demands
- High level teamwork skills
- The ability to develop and deliver creative solutions to issues that arise within the community or workplace
- Ability to work without supervision in a dynamic and changing environment
