The Smith Family is a children’s education charity that helps young Australians experiencing disadvantage to create better futures for themselves through harnessing the power of education.
We are currently seeking casual facilitators to work across our participating schools in Townsville where our ‘Learning for Life’ students are enrolled. You facilitate to the whole class, so everyone gets the benefit of these extra-curriculum programs. Programs run intermittently, as required by the participating schools.
It would suit a facilitator with at least two available days per week. Scheduling can fit around your other part time/casual work/study commitments.
The successful candidates may consider delivering one or more of the following programs, depending on their skills and experience and also the local participating schools’ needs:
