We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to join our organisation. Reporting to the Group Manager, D&T Strategy & Transformation and working alongside dedicated, energised, and passionate team members, this role will be responsible for supporting and maintaining architectural direction, standards, roadmaps, patterns, governance and methodologies for all technology. This includes supporting the development and maintenance of application, data, and technical architectures; evaluation and assessment of technology; maintenance of architecture and technology standards, software re-use policies, and compliance.

About our role

You will be responsible for:

• Establishing the organisation’s overall strategy-driven IT architecture roadmap
• Communicating architectural standards to our Leaders and IT staff
• Reviewing and revising cost benefit analyses, risk analyses and development plans
• Providing internal consultancy on architectural issues including the provision of recommendations
• Collaborating in the development and integration of information systems to meet the needs of the organisation
• Engagement with key stakeholders to ensure architecture solutions meets business priorities and outcomes
• Providing leadership and guidance to team members, ensuring optimal use of skills in the team.

About you

As well as passion for community, you will bring the following:

• Degree in information technology, software engineering, computer science, or related field (or comparable experience)
• TOGAF 9 Certification
• 5+ years’ experience in a similar role within a large organisation
• Experience with integration architecture involving web delivery and data warehousing components
• Experience with Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Azure API Management, Sitecore CMS, Microsoft Azure Cloud Services and online products & services
• Demonstrated leadership, commercial & customer focus
• Executive-level verbal and written communication skills with ability to explain IT concepts broadly
• Established track record delivering large scale, complex or digital transformation programs of work in an agile business environment
• Experience or interest in delivering AI-driven solutions would also be an asset
• Have or willing to obtain an employee Working With Children's Check
