  • We are currently recruiting for an experienced NDIS Manager - Operations & Development to join our senior management team in this full-time role.

Reporting directly to CEO, you’ll be responsible for the leadership and management of the NDIS program. The Manager is responsible for a range of activities, including staff management and supervision, compliance and audit preparation, business development, professional development, administration and business processes.

Key responsibilities of the Manager role include:

  • Managing and developing a highly skilled, motivated, and efficient NDIS team.
  • Supporting and managing the performance of the NDIS program, including the relationships with internal and external partner organisations.
  • Contribute to the delivery of the organisation’s plan to facilitate a sustainable future that is aligned to our Mission and values.
  • Developing the business and taking it to the next level of growth in terms of participants and income.
  • Continuous improvement including audit preparation and undertaking internal and the mandatory external audits.
  • Lead, coach, train, mentor, and manage staff.
  • Contribute your gained extensive knowledge of practice in the disability sector, including NDIS experience.
  • Establish strong rapport and working relationships with a range of stakeholders including people experiencing homelessness, social isolation and disability, NDIS Local Area Coordinators, NDIS Planners, NDIA, NDIS Commission, community organisations, other NDIS service providers and internal management.
  • Lead the updating and improving the strategic and operational strategies.
  • Review  teams financial and compliance performances with Executive Manager Finance & CEO.
  • Lead the improvement in the automation of supports deliveries systems.

About you

As a collaborative member of the team, ideally with experience within the disability, health and/or aged care sector, you’ll have:

  • Extensive experience in the disability support services sector, with a strong understanding of the NDIS framework and funding models and relevant qualifications to support you in the role.
  • Strong leadership skills to collaborate with and lead a team of support coordinators, support workers and Team Leader.
  • Proven track record in financial and people management.
  • Proven experience in previous roles that resulted in increased income generation while meeting NDIS compliance requirements.
  • Experience in program development to increase the organisation’s clients and their supports.
  • Have a strong understanding and knowledge of NDIS Standards.
  • Work in conjunction with the Management team to develop, monitor, and manage annual budgets and strategies that ensure programs meet requirements and KPIs.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Results-oriented, with a focus on delivering high-quality services and achieving business objectives.

Great at solving problems in services deliveries including risk mitigations and complaints/incidents handling.

Successful candidates will be required to have the following:

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check clearance.
  • Working with Children Check-Employee.
  • Current Police Check
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module certificate.
  • COVID-19 Training Module.
  • Proof of COVID vaccination.
  • Provide two Employment referees for reference checking, including a direct report.
  • Proof of qualifications
