    About the Opportunity

    In this role, you will be responsible for providing high quality Social Work services to patients/ clients and carers of SLHD to ensure the provision of optimal health outcomes for the patients/ clients of RPA Virtual hospital. The senior Social Worker is responsible for the provision of specialist services, clinical leadership, guidance and supervision of Social Work staff in RPA Virtual hospital as well as carrying a specialist clinical caseload.

    The Ideal Candidate is someone who has...

    • A Bachelor degree in Social Work or equivalent that provides eligibility for full membership of Australian Association of Social Work (AASW) with experience at Level 2 or higher.
    • Advanced clinical knowledge and skills, extensive clinical experience and ability to provide social work interventions and complex case management across a range of areas including to those living with chronic health conditions, who may also be impacted by substance use issues, mental health issues, cognitive impairment, history of violence.
