We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Midwife to join our MAPS team. 

Where you'll be working

This role is based at RPA Hospital. RPA is a premier tertiary and quaternary referral hospital, recognised as a leader in healthcare excellence and innovation. A key hospital of Sydney Local Health District, RPA serves its local community and patients from across NSW, Australia and internationally.

What you'll be doing

The Registered Midwife is responsible for the provision of woman centred; evidence- based midwifery care that promotes identified health outcomes. The Registered Midwife will assess, plan, implement and evaluate midwifery care in collaboration with individuals and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
 
This position requires availability for a 7 day rotating roster of day shifts.

What you bring to the role

  • Hold current midwifery registration with AHPRA
  • A current NSW driver licence (P1 and P2 acceptable) is required, as this role requires work between the hospital and the community
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
