About the Opportunity

This position will be a 2 year rotational position within Adult Services.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing a high quality Speech Pathology service to patients and carers in order to ensure the provision of optimal health outcomes. This will involve the assessment, treatment and planning of services for patients with dysphagia and communication disorders. Clinical cover may be required at times for staff within the department as directed by the Head of Department.

The Ideal Candidate is someone who has...

• A Bachelor or post graduate degree in Speech Pathology that provides eligibility for full membership of Speech Pathology Australia.
• A completed Speech Pathology course in the calendar year prior to commencement of New Graduate role in the following calendar year, with evidence of excellent academic performance (Please include the name of your final adult clinical placement supervisor as a referee and a transcript of academic record).
• Undergraduate clinical experiences in Speech Pathology practice and the provision of services to adult swallowing and communication disorders.
