ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Marketing and Business Development Specialist, it will be your responsibility to:

  • Shape SIMNA’s unique voice in the market and develop consistent messaging that reflects our mission, our members and strategic priorities.
  • Refine our value proposition for individual members, organisational members and partners.
  • Design strategies to grow SIMNA’s membership base, including piloting one or more member recruitment campaigns.
  • Advise on brand and website enhancements to support strategic priorities and SIMNA’s visual identity.
  • Review member retention and progress strategies to increase retention.
  • Develop marketing strategies and plans to promote our key products and services to both members and non-members.

What experience is preferred (but not essential)?

  • Familiarity with the Australian social impact ecosystem
  • Previous experience with a network or membership organisation
  • Brand management skills
  • Analytical experience
  • Website and creative brief development.

terms and conditions

  • Location: It doesn’t matter where you live within Australia: we are a national organisation with members all over the country, a growing online presence, and Organising Committees in five locations.
  • Duration: This is a short-term contract paid at an hourly rate.
  • Remuneration: We can offer up to a total of $10,000 (including superannuation and GST, if applicable) for the duration of the contract. We have a separate budget for branding and website enhancements that may be drawn from based on proposals you put forward.
  • Equipment: For this contract role paid at an hourly rate, you must bring your own device. No expenses will be reimbursed.
