As Australia’s knowledge sharing network for Social Impact Measurement, SIMNA brings together people from all different types of organisations – not-for-profits, corporates, funders, social enterprises, local and federal government – to drive social and environmental impact into the core of organisations and decisions.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As the Digital Communications Coordinator, it will be your responsibility to:
- Maintain and develop SIMNA’s website and online presence including management and development of social media channels and content.
- Draft emails to promote the SIMNA Awards and provide updates to key stakeholders.
- Write blog posts about different aspects of the Awards
- Attend roundtable discussions and publish blog posts reflecting key learnings.
- Create social media and event assets.
- Prepare insightful analysis and performance reports.
- Support event planning and delivery of the online Awards ceremony.

- Digital marketing skills and creativity in social media and communications

- Familiarity with the Australian social impact ecosystem.
terms and conditions
- Location: It doesn’t matter where you live within Australia: we are a national organisation with members all over the country, a growing online presence and Organising Committees in five locations.
- Duration: This is a fixed-term contract running from 28 July 2025 - 30 June 2026 paid at an hourly rate.
- Remuneration: We can offer up to $50 per hour (inclusive of Super), for a maximum of 200 hours.
- Equipment: For this contract role paid at an hourly rate, you must bring your own device. No expenses will be reimbursed.
