OSHC Assistant Coordinator Surry Hills
A substantial part time position is now available at Surry Hills Neighbourhood Centre. We are looking for a dedicated highly motivated Out of School Hours Care Assistant Coordinator with a focus on excellence. You will work as part of a dynamic team to undertake the role of the Assistant Coordinator for our service at Crown St Public School.

- Morning Shifts: 7.am-9.am

Attributes
- You possess experience working within an OSHC / OOSH or Early Childhood Service.
- You possess a positive attitude.
- You must be able to effectively supervise a team and manage the day-to-day operations of an education and care service.
- You are an approachable, and collaborative leader, whilst being professional and compliance driven.
- Must be able to facilitate an inclusive and structured program that is tailored to the needs and interests of the children and community.
- Be insightful to the needs of the school community and have the ability to implement the specific needs of families.
- Capable to take charge and be independent in the role when necessary.
- Possesses thorough knowledge and understanding of the National Quality Framework, National Quality Standards, and My Time Our Place.
- You possess good communication skills that allow you to communicate with different stakeholders, parents, children, the school, and community members.
- A positive role model for children and other staff members.
- You strive to facilitate the learning and development of children through all aspects of the Service.
Other requirements
- HLTAID004 - Provide an emergency first aid response in an education and care setting.
- CHCPRT001 Identify and respond to children and young people at risk.
- Working With Children Check (WWCC).
- Criminal History Check (if they are required or to obtain a PRODA).
- Acceptance of being ‘Responsible Person in Charge’ in writing
