Senator Jordon Steele-John is seeking a person to join our collaborative and dynamic team as a Policy and Parliamentary Advisor, based in the Australian Parliament House in Canberra. This role is an ongoing permanent position. Assistance to support relocation to Canberra can be provided.
In this role, you would be responsible for supporting Senator Steele-John in managing parliamentary matters and policy positions across his portfolios of Health and Mental Health, Disability Rights and Services, Foreign Affairs, Peace and Nuclear Disarmament.
As part of his portfolio responsibilities, Senator Steele-John is a member of the Joint Standing Committee on the National Disability Scheme, the Joint Standing Committee of Foreign Affairs Defence and Trade, and the Senate Committee of Foreign Affairs, Defence and Trade.
