You are someone who loves presenting and interacting with others. You are a ‘people person’ and communicating with others feeds your spirit. You believe passionately that educating young people about these topics is crucial and want to make a difference. While you are a dynamic, energetic person, you can also read the room and be sensitive when required (some of these topics are sensitive). You have excellent emotional intelligence. Your friends and family say you are kind and empathetic, but also fun. You are excellent at reading and retaining scripts (perhaps you are an actor or maybe you’re someone who has loved doing debating or school plays; you are an entertainer). While our presentations contain essential information for young people to help them learn and be safe, as well as develop their health and wellbeing, we know that learning happens best when people are engaged and that it’s ok to have fun while learning.
You have a range of abilities in terms of working with props, speaking to a simple PPT (and not being boring!), happy to sing a song and maybe do a little dance. This position is about connecting with an audience, whether they are 5-year-olds or 15-year-olds. Kids know when people are being authentic or not, so don’t apply if you think you can fake it. We are looking for people who have a track record in this area.
If this is you, read on!
