Scouts NSW is looking for a highly motivated individual to help us manage a range of grant programs within the organisation. Reporting to the Head of Marketing and Communications, you will be part of our small energetic grants team but also work in conjunction with other departments. You will contribute to the success of local Scouts Groups in running an excited and fun program for young people.

Key Duties of the Role
- Manage the day to day administration of Scouts NSW’s grants program including invoicing, reporting, database management, project completion processing and compliance;
- Act as an interface to effectively handle general enquiries relating to grants from Scout groups;
- Liaise with the grant funding body including governmental organisations;
- Work with the Grants Writer on communication of grant opportunities and successful applications;
- Provide efficient and smooth service on grants to all levels of Scouts;
Essential Requirements
- High School Certificate or higher;
- Well-developed organizational skills and all-rounder administration capabilities, coupled with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated computer skills, including experience using Microsoft Office;
- Experience in grants admin, especially within the governmental sector, highly desirable
- Sound financial understanding and working knowledge in the areas of acquittals, expenditure review, and budget allocations within grants funding context is well regarded
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to exercise high levels of autonomy, while at the same time working effectively in a team based environment that is outcomes focused
- A valid NSW Employee Working With Children Check and National police Check
