Join our team as the Sector Support and Development Program Support Worker.

We are the Sector Support and Development Team (CHSP SSD Team) – Manager CHSP SSD, Regional Advisor SSD, and Communications Lead (in partnership with the SSD Connect Alliance). We are part of the Partnerships Division at Sunbury and Cobaw Community Health.

This role is an opportunity to be an integral part of a small team that’s passionate about providing excellent training and support to the aged care sector. This training and support is critical as the sector prepares to transition to the new aged care system.

We work closely with the SSD Connect Alliance. The SSD Connect Alliance is a dynamic collaboration of 9 local government SSD providers who have come together to create training and support opportunities for CHSP-funded aged care providers.

Your key duties & responsibilities:

  • Support the operations of the SSD CHSP Team through program and administrative support
  • Coordinate SSD Connect Alliance training events and activities
  • Collect data and report on participant training experience
  • Manage electronic systems – keep files, records, diaries and systems up to date
  • Facilitate invoicing and basic bookkeeping, prepare monthly reports
  • Maintain databases and mailing lists
  • Participate in SSD program planning and review
  • Monitor activities and outputs against deliverables as outlined in the SSD Activity Work Plan.
