About the role:

Our Primary Health Unit is seeking TWO Allied Health Assistants to join our multidisciplinary team to work with individuals and groups aged 18 years and over across our Sunbury & Kyneton sites on a maximum term contract.

Working under the guidance of Allied Health professionals this position provides support to the Physiotherapy, Dietetics, Occupational Therapy and Nursing services to facilitate the effective delivery of programs and services.

Responsibilities include assisting and supporting programs, administrative support and supporting clients under the guidance of Allied Health professionals.

About you:

You will be able to work with autonomy and be able to travel between sites in Sunbury and the Macedon Ranges.

You will have an Allied Health Assistant qualification (or equivalent) or are studying towards becoming an Allied Health professional

You will have experience communicating with frail aged and disabled clients and their carers and the ability to work collaboratively with staff and volunteers.

The successful candidate will be required to undertake and maintain a National Criminal History Check (NCHC), a NDIS Safety Screening check, and hold a current valid Working With Children Check.
