In this key leadership role, you'll drive Save the Children's programs and community engagement across north Queensland and the Gulf, leading a dedicated and passionate team and working in partnership with community to maximise our impact.
Your knowledge and experience will contribute to positioning Save the Children as a practice leader in the sector and a key partner in community to deliver real and measurable outcomes for children and young people from all cultures.

In this full-time, maximum term role (through to March 2023) based in either Townsville or Mt Isa, you'll lead teams working in various programs across Townsville, Mt Isa and the Gulf.
Our programs in these regions include supported playgroups, youth justice programs, financial wellbeing, and family support. Reporting to our Queensland State Director, you'll be a key member of our Queensland leadership team.
Your strong leadership is reflected in the success of your teams and their projects and in your partnerships with community. You have a thorough understanding of child rights focused service delivery. You're inquisitive, passionate and motivated to seek constant development.
Your ability to negotiate and build lasting relationships will mean you'll network effectively across the region, increasing our reach and impact. Your empathy and highly developed interpersonal skills give you a flair for engaging with stakeholders across diverse backgrounds and experiences.
