We need you to engage journalists across print, broadcast, online and social media to drive interest in Save the Children's work at home and overseas. You will help position us as an authoritative voice on children's rights, and a leading agency in humanitarian emergencies. You have a nose for news, thrive on pressure, and have the drive to make a difference for children.
We're ambitious, creative and outspoken. We stand up for children's rights. We want all children to be educated, healthy and live a life free from violence. We run programs in Australia and overseas and, if there's a disaster - like an earthquake, drought or conflict - we are there on the ground.
In this full-time permanent position, based in our Carlton office*, you will work on media releases, opinion pieces, and reports that capture the attention of journalists and editors. You will be part of our high-performing Campaigns and Public Affairs team in our Policy and Advocacy Department.

Position Description - Media Adviser
*While COVID-19 social distancing restrictions are in place, this role works remotely (i.e. from home or an alternative location). Once the pandemic restrictions are lifted, the role will be based in our office in Carlton.
