Solomon Islands is one of the most climate-, and disaster risk-vulnerable countries in the world. To help children to thrive, we need to work with whole communities to meet the challenges of this escalating crisis. The Solomon Islands Knowledge-Action-Sustainability for Resilient Villages (SOLKAS) Project will empower some of the most climate-vulnerable communities in the Solomon Islands to adapt to the unavoidable impacts of climate change.
SOLKAS is a 6-year, $31,831,892 USD project principally funded by the Green Climate Fund (GCF), with contributions from the Australian aid program and New Zealand Government. The project will be co-executed by Save the Children Solomon Islands and the Solomon Islands Ministry of Environment, Climate Change, Disaster Management, and Meteorology (MECDM), who will jointly manage activity implementation in six provinces in the Solomon Islands.
Save the Children is seeking a consultant or consultancy firm to carry out an assessment of the project's baseline and develop a Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning Framework (MEALF) based on the project logframe.
