About the role
The Services Team Lead manages a multidisciplinary team across our Forums & Groups, Guided Service and Drop-In programs.
The primary purpose of this role is to lead a team of counsellors in delivering SANE’s mental health recovery program, ensuring adherence to organisational policies and procedures while meeting or exceeding both clinical and operational performance targets. The Services Team Leader reports to the Services Operations Manager and is a critical member of the service delivery team.
Key responsibilities of this role include:
- Lead, mentor, train, motivate and guide a multi- disciplinary team to achieve monthly KPI’s around service provision, clinical practice, and leadership
- Utilise SANE’s quality assurance framework to review written and verbal records and provide regular, constructive coaching and feedback.
Identify and implement opportunities and strategies to enhance internal communication, to ensure the services team are informed and participate in organisational wide matters that impact them.
- Manage ongoing performance using established platforms and procedures.
- Oversee the daily operations and smooth running of the Recovery Services: telephone calls, online chat, email enquiries and any other future services.
- Identify opportunities for incremental improvements of the CRM by working with internal and external stakeholders.
About You
- Tertiary qualification in psychology, social work, counselling, or another relevant field.
- Eligibility for membership with the appropriate professional body (AASW, AHPRA, PACFA, ACA).
- Minimum 4 years' experience in a similar role.
- Commitment to ongoing learning and development with a growth mindset that is applied in terms of continuous improvement and innovation.
- High level knowledge and understanding in providing support for those affected by complex mental health issues (including families, friends, and colleagues) and the benefits and role peer support plays in improving mental health.
- Extensive experience working apart of, leading and managing a multi-disciplinary team, specifically in a digital environment
