About the role

Reporting directly into the Fundraising Manager, this newly created role is integral in delivering SANE’s fundraising growth strategy. The role works closely with a small team to develop and drive direct marketing and digital campaigns including annual appeals, matched giving days, acquisition campaigns and the regular giving program.

Working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, this is an opportunity to make your mark and contribute to the continued growth of the organisation. 

Key responsibilities of this role include: 

  • Develop, implement and drive strategic direct marketing appeals and digital fundraising campaigns to meet organisational budgets and drive revenue growth. 
  • Implement acquisition and conversion strategies for cash and regular donor programs across a range of channels.  
  • Manage income and expenditure budgets and forecasts for all individual giving programs.  
  • Work with the team to implement strategies that leverage communications to identify and develop mid-donors, major donors and bequest leads.   
  • Develop and implement donor retention strategies for both single gift donors and regular givers, including welcome and retention communications.   

About You 

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in fundraising in a not-for-profit environment. 
  • Proven experience of successful end-to-end campaign management. 
  • Hands on experience using Salesforce  to leverage data insights and trends to optimise fundraising performance 
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills; ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast paced and changing environment.  
  • Understanding of fundraising principles, donor stewardship, and campaign metrics (e.g. acquisition, ROI, attrition). 
  • Continuous improvement mindset, with proven experience uplifting internal policies and procedures.
