About the Role

SAL Consulting’s therapy practice prides itself on providing services to individuals with an intellectual disability, children and young people in foster and residential out of home care, forensic disability, involuntary clients (including court ordered or consent by guardian) and individuals and families with a Mental Health Care Plan.

SAL Consulting believes in making a positive difference in people’s lives, and we need a skilled psychologist with extensive therapy experience who can help manage a growing portfolio and be part of our strong, supportive Leadership Team in NSW. You will provide our team of therapists with regular therapy supervision and mentoring/training, and hold a small case load of therapy clients, assessment and clinical support work.

Other duties include updating and maintaining therapy practice standards and guides, updating therapy policies and procedures, attending leadership meetings and being part of our allocations team.

SAL Consulting provides practitioners with flexibility, work diversity and an ability to manage their own time. You will be based at our Sydney Office spaces (including Pennant Hills and Ultimo) with the option to work from home for administration / report writing. Criteria

  1. High level leadership skills and experience in managing and supervising a team of therapists;
  2. Experience working with children, adolescents and adults, including those with an intellectual disability using a range of therapy modalities;
  3. Ability to work collaboratively within a leadership team;
  4. An interest in Positive Behaviour Support, and experience in conducting different types of assessments;
  5. Proficient writing, verbal communication, analytical and assessment skills;
  6. A minimum of 5-years full APHRA registration;
  7. Current Driver’s Licence.
