Campaign Lead

We’re looking for a strategic and hands-on Campaign Lead to deliver a dynamic, high-impact public campaign highlighting the vital contributions of the community services sector, and its workers and volunteers.

You’ll be responsible for coordinating all aspects of the 2025 SACOSS / Volunteering SA&NT sector-wide campaign. You’ll plan and implement digital and traditional campaign activities, build engagement across member organisations, create compelling content, and help amplify the stories and voices of the sector.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate and deliver digital and traditional campaign activity, including social media, email marketing, paid media and promotional materials
  • Recruit and support participating organisations, helping them share their own stories and amplify campaign messaging
  • Create campaign resources including toolkits, fact sheets and event materials
  • Work with stakeholders to source and promote lived experience stories
  • Track and report on campaign reach and impact

ABOUT YOU

You’re a creative communicator and campaigner with strong project management skills, a passion for social justice, and a knack for engaging diverse audiences. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment and be excited to play a central role in an ambitious campaign for change.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

  • Proven experience in campaigns, advocacy or stakeholder engagement
  • Excellent writing and digital content skills
  • Strong social media and CRM platform experience
  • Great interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships across diverse stakeholder groups
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills
  • Familiarity with Canva or Adobe Creative Suite
  • A commitment to the values and mission of SACOSS

Experience in the community sector and/or an understanding of South Australia’s political landscape is desirable.

POSITION DETAILS

  • 0.8–1.0 FTE (30.4–38 hrs/week)
  • Fixed-term contract for 6 months
  • Salary: SCHADS Level 5.1
  • Based in Adelaide with some flexibility and occasional out-of-hours work required
  • Immediate start available
