You are ethical, self-motivated and committed to making a difference for people with disability and older people. You are focused on empowering clients with choice and control. You have exceptional customer service, problem-solving skills and advocacy skills.

Rozelle Neighbourhood Centre has over 35 years’ experience in working with our stakeholders to create opportunities for people to be themselves in the community. We operate a range of support services for people with disabilities on a 1:1 basis as well as for group activities. Our aged care programs include domestic support (light household tasks, dusting, vacuuming, etc), in-home respite and support to access social activities.

SELECTION CRITERIA:

• No minimum qualifications required as believe that values and interests are more important
• Willingness to work 1-1 with a disability or aged clients, as well as in a group setting
• Willingness to learn Supportability (rostering and client management system)
• Previous experience in a similar role an advantage
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of WH&S principles
• A current Australian form of photo ID or International passport
• A National Police Criminal Record check from within the last 12 months or willingness to obtain
• A current Working with Children check
• A current First Aid and/or CPR certificate

Pay rates are as per the SCHADS Award, including casual and shift loadings.
