About you:

We seek a self-motivated and friendly individual who is:

  • Passionate about equality, innovation and supporting a positive sexual life for people with a disability or injury. 
  • Able to work as an interdisciplinary team member to promote positive sexual outcomes in the best interest of the client.
  • An allied health, nursing, psychosexual therapist or counselling professional with experience working with people with a disability or in a sexual therapy field.

About the role:

LifeWorks Ryde Sexuality Services at Royal Rehab is an innovative multi-disciplinary program. Some of the exciting opportunities for our Psychosexual Therapists include: 

  • Providing evidence based psychosexual therapy intervention.
  • Providing education and training internally and externally for other health professionals.
  • Representing of Sexuality Services within Royal Rehab and externally.
  • Encouraging interdisciplinary teamwork to promote outcomes in the best interests of the client. 
  • Promoting person-centred goals. 
  • Participating in research and quality activities within the sexuality service and Royal Rehab.
