The role

The Order Assistant will work closely with the Social Services Manager to deliver the Social Services Program at Roundabout Canberra – a vital aspect of our operation.

The role will be responsible for packing orders for local families, and managing relevant administration, including engaging with social services concerning the details and collection of orders. The Order Assistant reports to the Social Services Manager.

The role is casual, working 12-15 hours per week. The location of work is the Roundabout Canberra Headquarters at 80 Beaurepaire Cres, Holt.

Please note, this is a physical job which will involve manual handling. Full training provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Management of administration concerning orders, including updates to case management system and email communication with social services
  • Physical packing of orders to be collected.
  • Monitor and respond to service user enquiries concerning orders for families in timely manner.
  • Triaging of orders in accordance with case prioritisation model.
  • Take a customer service approach to communication with staff from Social Services, with strong focus on relationship maintenance.
  • Ensuring the Salesforce system continues to be utilised appropriately for order management and inventory management.
