The Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Donor Relations Coordinator to support our donor appeals, manage donor data, assist with donation processing and deepening supporter engagement through effective campaigns and stewardship. You’ll join a small, fast-paced, collaborative team where initiative and creativity are valued.

Reporting to the Philanthropy Manager, you’ll work closely with experienced fundraising professionals and key stakeholders, applying your expertise while making a meaningful impact for the children and families we support.

Skills required

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working within a fundraising/donor relations team -particularly in the areas of appeals/campaigns.

  • Providing excellent stewardship to Donors through professional and timely communications, accurate data entry and record keeping
  • Strong donor relationship skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Confidence in dealing with people from a diverse range of backgrounds
  • Proactivity in meeting and greeting our donors and supporters
  • Good data analysis and reporting skills
  • Proficient database skills
  • Ability to work independently without close supervision or guidance, -always with integrity
  • Having the best interests of the children and families at the House at the forefront of every action and conversation
  • Ability to plan ahead and work to and meet timelines
  • Professional, with a positive ‘can do ‘attitude
  • Flexible and adaptable with an excellent eye for detail, good time management and organisation

Key responsibilities

  • Support the Philanthropy Manager and Philanthropy Executive to deliver strategic, effective fundraising programs and meaningful stewardship journeys
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with individual donors, responding to enquiries via email, phone, and face‑to‑face interactions
  • Support timely invoicing and receipting in collaboration with the Finance team
  • Champion best‑practice workplace behaviours and procedures

Important to know

  • You will be entitled to 17.5% leave loading pay
  • You can have an extra day's Birthday leave each year!
  • You will be eligible for Salary Packaging
  • Paid parking at the QEII campus is restricted, however there are great Transperth services.
